On January 1st 2014, The Boy Scouts of America repealed the ban preventing openly gay boys from joining the organization. This was a great step forward in making the organization more inclusive. However, members are required to follow strict bylaws that conflict with boys and families holding secular views.

The recognition of God as the ruling and leading power in the universe and the grateful acknowledgment of His favors and blessings are necessary to the best type of citizenship and are wholesome precepts in the education of the growing members.
The organization should be open to everyone, to those of any religion, and those without one at all.
To end religious prejudice exercised by The Boy Scouts of America against which boys can join their organization. No child should have to give lip service to a deity they don't believe in in order to benefit from and be a member of the organization. The Boy Scouts of America can adopt policies similar to the Girl Scouts of America, which allow to change the word "God" in their scout promise to a phrase of their choice.
The Boy Scouts of America will receive the reward when this bounty completes.
